Do you offer price breaks on large quantities?

Yes, at 100 lbs., 400 lbs., and 2,000 lbs. Ask your sales representative for prices.

Do you ship to Post Office boxes?

We can not ship to Post Office boxes because our preferred carrier, FedEx will not deliver to P.O. Boxes.

Do you have fragrances in stock? Can it ship today?

Generally, we do not stock fragrances. Fragrances are custom manufactured when ordered.  Orders usually ship within 3 business days. In an emergency please contact your sales representative who may be able to arrange expedited shipping.

Payments by check or money orders may be mailed to:

     Houston, Texas 77040
     Attn: Accounts Receivable

Please include your account name, account number, and invoice you are paying. When paying in advance, please include your name and company name.

How long does it take to process a credit application?

Credit applications generally take 1-3 weeks to process. It depends on how quickly your credit references respond to our requests.

How are your fragrances packaged? What are your container sizes?

Fragrance orders of less than 25 lbs will ship in either plastic bottles or small metal pails.
Fragrance orders of 25 lbs. will be shipped in pails.
Fragrance orders of 100 lbs. or more will ship in metal drums.

What is the Special Packaging Charge?

Whether 1 pound or 100 pounds of fragrance are ordered, our labor costs to produce, package and ship your order are the same.  Therefore, we use special packaging charges to defray the cost of servicing our smaller customers.  This allows us to reduce our minimum requirements, which is a benefit to you, the customer.

When will I get my order?

From the time you place the order, until the fragrance ships from our dock, generally takes about three (3) business days. This lead-time may increase during our peak season from September to December, so plan ahead. Once it leaves our facility, shipping times vary depending on destination. Check with Customer Service when you place your order.

Can you send me a price list and a catalog?

We do not publish a price list but you can specify, when sampling, what price range you prefer. A price quote will be included when you receive your samples. With over 16,000 fragrances in our library (and several more added every day), it would be impossible to maintain a current catalogue.

Do you pay for shipping?

Yes. Intercontinental Fragrances pays the cost of shipping your order within the continental U.S. provided that we choose the carrier.

We do not ship orders C.O.D.

Why do I need a business license?

Intercontinental Fragrances is a Wholesale Manufacturer. This means we sell our fragrances to businesses that will manufacture their own product and re-sell their product at  retail. To purchase our fragrance you must have a valid Tax ID or Re-seller's permit.

Why are the oils at different levels in my containers at the same weight?

The amount of volume that a specific weight of fragrance occupies is dependent upon two factors.  The first is the temperature of the fragrance.  Fragrances expand and contract with temperature even though their weight does not change.  The second factor is their density measured as specific gravity.  Just as a pound of lead occupies less space than a pound of feathers you will find that 25 lbs of fragrance with a high specific gravity will not fill a container as high as 25lbs of fragrance with a low specific gravity.
